This 2005 Heritage Eagle Classic is made of all solid woods with hand carved top and. back.  The top is made with fine spruce and the back and sides are figured maple.  The top is fitted with a single, inset, neck position humbucker, a la the Gibson L-5 WesMo.  This unusual variation is much harder to find than the typical two pickup version.  
 
The Rendall Wall designed humbucker does a great job of emulating that great Wes Montgomery tone, making this guitar a pretty much unbeatable value to get to Wes land.  The guitar plays beautifully with low, fast action.  The neck has a comfortable D-shape.
 
The condition is excellent.  In 2023 the current owner (guitar is on consignment) sent the guitar to the head finish specialist at Heritage, David Teske, to be refinished in this gorgeous wineburst.
