This guitar, made by Daniel Slaman in the Netherlands is #39518 "Arielle" and features a flamed redwood carved top over a Spanish cedar back. Spanish cedar neck, ebony fingerboard with black pearl block inlays. CC Adjustable pickup, handmade 250 style tailpiece. It currently has an ebony wood bridge on it, also made by Slaman.  The bridge can easily be swapped out for a tune-o-matic if desired also.

Daniel Slaman describes the model as follows, "The Jazz Pauletta has one Charlie Christian pickup in the neck position. The guitar features lightweight woods for the body.  The goal is to have a solid body guitar with some of that hollow body jazz guitar vibe and response. The top is spruce, redwood or Port Orford cedar, all lightweight softwoods. The body is Western red cedar, Spanish cedar (cedrela odorata) or lightweight mahogany. The neck is Spanish cedar with an ebony fingerboard. String length is 24 3/4 inch."

This example plays beautifully and shows only light fretwear.  I estimate that at least 90% of the frets' life remains still.  The guitar feels lightweight and resonant, living up to the goal of the builder.  The C-shaped neck feels remarkably comfortable and the action can be set low and fast, as it currently is.  All notes ring out clearly at all positions.  The CC pickup is a bar magnet reproduction, but with adjustable poles, rather than a blade.  Tone-wise, the guitar excels at clean and edge of breakup tones with superb clarity.

The guitar is in excellent condition with relic work done by Daniel Slaman.
