This Gibson Custom 1964 Reissue ES-335 comes in a custom aged Aspen white finish which really mimics a vintage, aged white finish very well, giving it a nice buttercream appearance with a little more yellowing around the edges. The guitar is loaded with Alnico III Custombuckers which cannot be purchased on their own from Gibson and in my opinion are the best PAF reproductions Gibson makes.
The guitar plays beautifully with fast, low action. All notes ring out clearly. The nylon saddles in the ABR-1 bridge warm the tone nicely while the guitar still has a sound that will cut through in a mix very nicely. The neck has the 1964 carve which is a rounded C-shape, very slightly slimmer than a '59 carve, but very similar otherwise.
There are some very light surface scratches, more like light scuffs in the finish and very light lacquer cracks next to the nut. The back of the headstock is stamped DEMO.
